When Doves Cry
Prince
Eucalyptus • Pine • Peppercorn
The end of something beautiful. Wet pavement reflecting streetlights. Too proud to cry but feeling everything. That specific ache of passion mixed with grief; the sound of doves crying. When Doves Cry opens with eucalyptus clearing the way like tears you're finally letting fall. Pine deepens like the forest where you go to be alone. Peppercorn adds that edge, something sharp, something real.
